My left tail light will not light up when I turn on the headlights. I replaced the bulb b/c I figured it was just a simple burned out bulb, but no luck. I discovered that if I bang on the tail light after I turn on the lights, it will light up. If I turn them off again though, it fails to light up when I turn them back on. I recently had both lights replaced under the recall, but i just now became aware of the problem...

Any ideas what could be causing this?

 

give the wires a wiggle. sounds like something is loose in that area.

 

Have you tried another bulb?
