Default tein flex w/edfc problems

Having some problems with my suspension..... Today I put nsx wheels on my s2k and wanted to lower it. Suspension setup is tein flex coils with the EDFC. I got the collars to move down and evened it up everywhere but the car didn't really go much lower. I've given it a couple hours to settle and still not much. Maybe an inch lower after lowering the collars about 4 inches. And on top of the car not being lower, it's ridiculously bouncy; almost to the point that it's un-driveable. I noticed that after I lowered the collars the springs didn't really de-compress much and there's a bunch of space between the top of the spring and the top of the strut. Is this normal? Should I do something specific with the EDFC unit? Could this be causing the car not to lower and/or be making it bouncy? Pleeease anybody with any input/experience lowering my specific setup- chime in I really want my car to be fun to drive and right now it's not

Cliffs: After lowering the perches, it seems like my suspension isn't even using the spring. There's about 3 inches between the top of the spring and the top of the shock. Do I need to just let it settle and de-compress or is something damaged?

Thanks!

Ben

are you sure youre not moving the collar that adjusts the preload? that might be the cause of the bounciness

I moved the 2 collars directly under the spring, not the far bottom one. I made sure it was tight but didn't torque it down at all or loosten it. Seems like my springs on the coilovers may be shot.

You adjusted the preload.

You should've left it alone and use the bottom collar to adjust the height.

your not supposed to move the the 2 collars directly under the springs that is the preload...if you lower those enough you get some horrible bounce to your ride...you are supposed to rotate the lower collar up to desired height and rotate the bottom cup up to the collar you just rotated upwards...

ok. so move the two directly under the spring back up to where they were and move the lowest one to lower the assembly?
