Now that you mention it, I guess it did have other instructions. Does the Casper's unit work on your car? It didn't work on mine, so I went with the ECG unit (and it worked).

To wire it up to your Civic, just check the manual and find the correct ECU pin locations for the wires in the above thread.

I have an '00 used caspers unit. Works fine! Many many miles and no CEL. Got a dyno though didn't do a before/after but felt a little stronger. My A/F was amazingly flat!!! No cat to mess things up. Did my tuning and car pulls nicely now.

I like it..........definitly isn't HUGE gains but there is something there. Plus it is way lighter than the cat. Sound gets pretty hollow with the stock exhaust. Almost a ricey sound but inside the car sounds like a BIKE! I like it so I will keep it. Smell of no cat hits you from time to time if the wind is correct. Otherwise it's fine.

I put the test pipe on today. At 2lbs, the pipe is much lighter than the cat, which weighed in at about 12lbs. it is definitely louder than the cat, especially at VTEC, but in a good way. Throttle response seems better. I'm going get the car dyno'ed next Tuesday to see if there are any measureable gains. Stay tuned....
BTW cel hasn't come on....yet.

So far the CEL hasn't come on after 30 miles of driving. I wonder if it'll come on eventually?
