i cannot tell you about gains though, 'cause i didn't a dyno with it on.

edit: i also removed it, 'cause i got horrible gas mileage.
I am a bit perplexed over this gas milage thing. I need to go through 1-2 more gas tanks of gas then I will put back on my CAT and see if I notice more power and better gas milage.

Did you have a working O2 simulator? If you had a CEL, then that was probably the cause of your gas mileage issue.

I suggest to run the test pipe with an aftermarket ECU, I highly doubt there is going to be a power loss.

Did you ever have the J's exhaust without the test pipe?

Oh, and I have been running my test pipe close to a year now with the CEL light burning and have not had any problems. When I had my VAFC tuned, I went from 193 HP to 202.

I had the same gas mileage with the testpipe and the oe cat. Which typically for me is 200-210 miles per tank.

Gernby and others with testpipe currently on, what sort of MPG difference are you seeing?
