no really i'm serious though. I have the intake manifold off, header off, cams and rocker arm assy removed and all the head bolts removed. I just can't get the damn thing off with the screwdrivers I have. I'm thinking I'm going to need a crowbar, but I don't think that's the standard way it's done.

I'm taking it off cuz i'm low on compression in cyl. 2,3&4. I think due to overrev at the track.

Bolt the intake manifold back on and pull on it while prying with the screwdriver. I have done this on MR2's and my pick up truck a few times.

Leverage of the manifold goes a long ways.

Where you at? Need any more help? I got a cherry picker if you need.

There is also the method of rotating the crankshaft with the sparkplugs installed (but no head bolts or cams) to use the compression of the motor to break the head gasket seal in a couple of places. Low compression will still break the seal in one or two places (you can tell where because the water/oil spills out).

BUT THAT IS ONLY USED AS LAST RESORT.
