Default Are these alignment specs good?

Ok I have an 04' with h&r lowering springs with stock shocks and the height is less than an inch drop well I bring it to my buddy who aligns it and screws it all up as each side is uneven in camber and my caster so now I have bumpsteer and unstable handling around turns, I also have an x-brace on the car and I have a good friend who tells me these specs should make the car handle like a dream or close to stock handling with the springs:

Front Both sides
Camber: -2.5 to -3 degrees
Toe: +.12 to +.06
Caster: 5.50

Rear Both Sides
Camber: -3 degrees
Toe:0 degrees

I don't plan on tracking the car just an agressive street driver around turns, corners and highway ramps. Any reccomendations or advice thanks? This time I want to do it right so I'm not out another $150, thanks.

Do all your wheels look like this /---\

No wonder your car drives like crap. That is way too much camber up front. You can get away with -3 in the rear but even the aggressive european alignment is -2. My fronts are -1.0 and the rears are -2.1

no those are not my specs now, those are the specs I'm recommended to go with

current spec

front left front right
-0.14 camber 0.35 camber
5.60 caster 5.39 caster
-0.13 toe -0.12 toe

rear left rear right
-2.82 camber -2.67 camber
0.02 toe 0.03 toe

I would go with the euro spec alignment, do some searching on the forums. You need more toe in the rear and zero toe in the front. As far as camber goes I would do -1 in the front and -2 in the rear. Guys that race their cars usually run more camber in the front then the rear, but it seems like your more tuned for the street so I wouldn't do the -2.5 in the rear and -3 in the front.

ok so I guess the know it all guy that recommended me the specs is an actual retard but have a question on the euro specs, do you think that they will make my car have less bump steer as I noticed quite a bit and will it be suitable with a 1'' drop all around? and do you have a link to the euro specs? thanks guys.

Do you know what bumpsteer really is? You shouldn't be seeing bumpsteer on the streets.

And just for information's sake, I highly doubt you can get -2.5 camber in the front, let alone -3.0, without a camber kit.

Yes I know what bumpsteer is, as i've looked it up and how can you say that you can't get bumpsteer in the streets when there's always bumps and holes to throw your car off, what are you going to experience more bumpsteer on a smooth track? NO. Well it seems that I've looked up the alignment specs for the U.K but they are only for models below the my04 does anyone have any recommendations on what I should go with as for specs and why the one that was recommended bad? thanks.

What is wrong with OEM spec?

Are you trying to squeeze some aggressive wheel/tire combo under your fenders?
