How much did that set you back? I'm guessing you didn't know you can move the stock hood prop to a higher location which basically does the same thing?

Dan, I doubt that is his car. Right-hand drive. Great idea, but as Dan said we have a free option that does that for us.

They look to me like they would get in the way. Most of my nder hood efforts are from the side.

BTW, why would RHD make a difference?

Trip at least on North American cars, there is a second hood prop hole by the fuse box/battery. i believe it even says so in the owner's manual. You can take it out from the front location and put it there to prop up the hood in a higher position.

Aus, he didn't mean that it would make a difference in RHD vehicles. He meant that it probably wasn't M5150's car since it was RHD and he lives in California.
