You could also use a blow dryer on cold setting after you seal the headlights to get rid of all excess condensation

FYI

A blow dryer will not work to unseal the headlights. They used to use a heat gun (Looks like blow dryer, only hotter) to do this. One of the issues they had at the time was keeping the headlight hot all the way around the seal without melting the plastic.

By my questimate there is about 500 S2000 owners that have either cleared or installed diffusers using the oven method. Also the Acura guy (TLs and CLs) use the same process on their headlights. This is a very well proven method.

if you plan to use a hairdryer, save yourself the trouble and use a shotgun to your head instead....

I've done a few sets myself and yes, I have experimented with the hairdryer method. It takes forever but it is hot enough to remove the lense from the headlamp assembly.

The oven method is more time consuming to me than the heatgun method.

Just use the heatgun and pry open the lense. It does not cool down quick enough to require constant reheating thus it prys apart just as quickly as the oven method. If you are in a colder climate, just place the headlamps next to a floor heater while you are using the heatgun. This keeps the seal nice and soft allowing you to pry it open easily.

Either way, I didn't have problems with condensation.

I used a hair dryer on the 6 pair of headlights I have done (4 civics, 1 accord, and an RX7). Very time consuming, but it does get the job done. I am going to use the oven method on my S2K, just because it only takes 10-20 minutes, and the hair dryer burns the hell out of my hands.

Thank you all for the inputs. I have succesfuly replaced my diffuser with Rick's JDM style ones. I tried the hairdryer method but it didn't work. So finally I still used the oven to heat them up. Anyways, I hope that there is no leak or else I'll have to do it all over again. Here are some pix after installation (gosh.. took me about 9 hours total).
