Hello,
I recently started getting some ticking noise. It only happens when the engine is warm, and the sound goes in and out lasting a couple of seconds at a time. I have included a video showing the noise in reference, there is some noise from loose pulleys I need to get to, but the ticking noise in question starts at about 0:06 of the video. Are my suspicions correct to think the TCT is starting to fail?

Just installed my Billman TCT and that thing is a work of art. It's such a beautiful part. I almost didn't want to install it and just stick it on my shelf.

 

I need to buy a billman tct too, i put a rebuild oem tct, but it seems still noisy

 

Does Billman ship to non-USA addresses? I know he didn't a few years ago.

I didn't wait for failure symptoms and just installed his TCT as preventive maintenance at about 40,000 miles (and 12 years ago). Price is so reasonable, part is so reliable, and installation so easy that I consider this a mandatory upgrade.

Thanks all for chiming in. I got Billman TCT in the mail and installed it. All noise is gone now
