Ticking sound
So I've had my01, 85k miles, for over 3 years now and have never heard this ticking before. I started it up this morning after a spirited drive last night it started making this very faint ticking sound (cold start) about 20 degrees outside but I let the car warm up for 5 minutes . The sound is only audible inside the car (not inside the engine bay). I couldn't hear the sound at all at idle but it became evident from 1 to 2k rpm. I couldn't hear it above 2k but this might just be because my exhaust is too loud. When I let the engine drop back down to idle I couldn't hear the sound anymore. I had a valve adjustment done and just sent the injectors out for cleaning about 2 weeks ago (have been trying to diagnose a dreaded misfire) and the car has been running great. Do you guys have any idea what this could be? Here is a video of the noise. Sorry for the bad video quality and I know its kind of hard to hear but if you play the video on laptop speakers or a cell phone the sound can be heard better because phones don't reproduce the low frequency sounds of the exhaust well.
Will post a video I took soon.
