Valve adjustment was done 15000km ago. And Racer, it's barely noticeable from inside the car, if it's noticeable at all.

You could have the valves re-checked to make sure nothing is askew. Other than that, not much else you can do.

A slight tick is normal.

Have you changed the oil allready or are you still using that 5W-50?
I've looked at the Dutch castrol website (assuming all European products are the same) and both the Castrol Edge in 0W-30 and 5W-30 oils are a good choice IMO.
The 0W-30 is a little thicker actually (@ 100C) and is also known as "German Castrol" at BITOG, the oil forum, where it gets lots of very good results.
The viscosity @ 100C is close to a xxW-40 though.

The Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 is another option.
The numbers look alike but it is a completely different oil (IMO).
Much thinner at 100C - but within the SAE 30 range - and the description is a low friction oil.
Without knowing the full details (because Castrol doesn't provide them) it looks like to be a true full syn (group IV/V) oil.

I don't think changing oil will make "the noise" go away.
5W-50 is to thick though.
Did your dealer use the proper S2000 oil filter?
Check your bill for this part# 15400-PCX-004.

Have you checked all moving parts (belt, pulley's) in the engine bay?
Is the noise coming from underneath the valve cover?

who did the valve adjustment?

even if you had it "done"...if it wasn't done correctly you will get this noise.

it does not sound like the ticking speed increases with rpm...but i may be wrong.

can you do a compression and leakdown test and come back with some numbers?
