Tie rod ends
What's everyone using for tie rod ends?
I have read a few things about the Megan ones. ($100ish) set
Looks like OE Honda are about $70 (for 1)
Then Hard race $200 set
Also,
Would the Megan or Hard Race DQ me from SCCA Street class as a "non-approved, performance part". I keep getting caught with details, I thought I could run AP2 wheels but because they are wider, I can not. It's ok to increase rim size by 1" but the section width needs to be the same. That's why I went back to AP1 wheels.
Again, my use is Street Class auto cross so I need to stay stock on most things. I think I am answering my own question. Think I am getting caught up on the fact that I like spherical bearings and upgrading parts as they need replacing. This whole "staying stock" thing is new territory for me.

If your tie rod ends are worn out (are they?), then the factory replacement is the best choice.
Unless you have some specific reason, I wouldn't buy ones with adjustable studs.
If you're talking about the Megan or HR ones that are just OE replacements...there's nothing wrong with them. They're good OE replacements. But if a factory replacement part is available....never go aftermarket.
