Today I was looking through the owner's manual of my friend's 2001 S2K. We couldn't find the timing belt replacement interval anywhere in the maintenance schedule.

Do these cars have timing chains?? or belts?

I figured it would be a belt, as my prelude had a timing belt.

really? thought we had a belt. good to know

 

thankfully its a chain. imagine the cost of a doing a timing belt change on a f20c.

 

Not to mention the damage if the belt gaveway on the freeway.
