Mine was making noise, took it apart, tweaked it, fixed the leaking VTEC solenoid, and switched oil weight from 10w-30 Pennzoil ultra platinum to 5w-40 ultra platinum. This got it to stop making noise, and I think a lot has to do with oil pressure of the engine in general. I say this simply because oil pressure is highest when the engine is cold and the oil is thick, which is exactly when the TCT is least likely to make noise. I just cleaned the oil passages and stretched the springs a bit, it's been okay for the last 800 miles and counting. I don't know what Billman does with his, but I know Ballade just includes stronger springs and that's about it. I'm actually saving up for the Billman TCT just for long term peace of mind, but I have a vacation coming up which is going to eat into my funds.
