tips on taking the door panel off

Default tips on taking the door panel off

anyone have tips on removing the door panel. I have an annoying rattle and want to do some investigating... thanks

Just pop the screws in the "oh-crap" handle and the little one behind the door lever. Slowly work your fingers around the edge of the panel and make sure you have something to set the door panel on. Its pretty low tech.

and don't forget the clip at the very front/top part nearest the hinge. it pops right off.

3 screws 1 pop out button right near the side mirror on the door panel. Pull the door handle out and work the plastic trip piece out from the door where the opener is. Start at the bottom near the rear the latch side and get your fingers under the panel and PULL! Work around and lift up off the door(top piece has a lip over the top of the door skin)

Be careful not to strip the screw behind the door handle. I did and now I don't know what to do.

Get a body clip puller. It will save you time. (Any many broken body clips!)

Charlie go to the Lucid website they have a step by step guide with pictures, its for speaker removal and installs mainly but I think it has the stuff you need
