I have a 2003 S-2000, I have been running RE-050’s in stock size and like the way the car handles with them, but their due for replacement. They seem to have a good balance of stickiness, wet road, cornering, reduced noise, smooth ride, and tire life, unfortunately, I can’t seem to find them anywhere nor the RE-11’s which people seems to be recommending. I’ve used S-02’s and S-03’s in the past but like the RE 050’s the best. The S-02’s are ok, but noisy and tire wear is poor. I don’t do any racing just spirited driving as they say. Recommendations? How about RE760 Sport? Would I be happy with these? What else a poeple running?

 

thats because there is a replacement for the RE-11. its the RE-11A

 

im getting ready to pull the trigger on some RE-11A's...auto-x guys like them and from what ive heard aren't bad on the street....that and im getting them for a 50% discount because im a bridgestone employee lol

 

Thanks, my initial search at tirerack did not bring up the RE-11's. must have clicked the wrong catagory? looks like the RE-11A is an improved version.

 

man what a perk. i would def love to have that. especially since autocross eats tires.
