Every s2k wears the inside of the fronts.
I used to think this too for the first couple of years that I owned the car. But now I know it doesn't have to be that way. See my above post for guidance.

Did you get an alignment after you lowered it?
I never lowered it, I think it's good enough stock for now.

If it is the tires that came on the car when you bought them you got good life out of them considering you are at 13k. My MY01 with the stock S02 tires lasted about 10k and I didn't even beat on them.
Wow thats crazy, I guess I shouldnt expect much from anything stock from the dealer as they would just put the cheapest parts on there.

Thanks everyone.

What do you think about the guy who said changing the alignment specs to 0 is almost dangerous, I guess messing up the handling of the car?

I'm not sure what that poster is referring to. The only spec that calls for a 'zero' alignment spec is front toe (0.00"). It's definately not dangerous, and it's what Honda calls for when the front wheeels are adjusted to -0.5 deg camber and 6deg castor. The rear tires require some toe (0.14") because of the more agressive -1.5 deg camber setting. Maybe the poster can clarify what he means for us?

I said if you set all camber and toe settings to zero you would minimize tire wear but the handling of the car would be severely downgraded. Obviously the recommended settings are not zero so some inside tire wear is expected.

You might want to read up a bit on summer tires. Long tread life isn't the point. As has already been stated the RE-050 isn't cheap by any means (again, do some research).
