Default toda cams in FI application

Has anyone used the toda cams in a FI application, more interested in supercharged application?
If so, what are your thoughts on these? gains?
They sound like a great product, but i have heard nothing on them regarding their effectiveness in a forced induction application.

I dont know how it would be for a super charger but for turbos I read somwhere that it is best to have a mild cam profile. but im not really sure.

Toda cams + boost= BOOM

high lift is not good for a forced induction application. Long duration is good for turbo or a supercharger, but high lift will cause detonation.

No, its overlap that is bad for boost situations. Last I checked, most cams for DSM's and other turbo cars have higher lift. They don't cause problems other than rough idle.

The Toda cams would be bad for FI, simply because they increase overlap over stock (As most NA cams do, if I remember correctly), and if you have the exhaust ports open at the same time as the intake ports, with FI the pressure escapes out the exhaust.

I know it would be expensive for the first set, but shouldn't a company like Crower be able to make a set of cams for this engine that is specific to FI? I would think we could go to them and get something ground that, using their knowledge and research, would significantly help a FI motor.

Coming from a small block Chevy motor world, I know the cams we had done for the blower were a whole lot different and they made a lot of difference.

From what I hear Crower cams for imports have been less than par for quality.

The DSM community I think overall hates them.
