Default Top Hiccup?

I went to take my S for one of my nightly drives and when I went to put the top down it wouldn't go down, so I turned it off and turned the key on and tried again still no top down. I didn't hear the relay click either.
So I backed it out of the garage and tried again and it went down perfect.?? I just went out to put it up and all is working fine.
I don't understand what might have happened.
it's an 04 AP2.
any ideas or things I can check.

I have seen several parking brake switches loose contact. Assuming you had set the brake and the top still is inop, take a long screw driver and poke the switch a little. You can see it down in the lever pivot area of the console. If that makes the top work, I would pull the console up and clean or replace the switch, I think thay are less than $10.00

Nope. There's also a connection to the speed sensor to disable the top while moving. So Honda wants to be 2X sure you don't operate the top unless stopped!
