whats a good place to get gears? ricks2k.com? what should be the first thing i get?

4.44's are a hard find now that the world supply is drying up. Get the 4.56's from Rick's.

can't you get either a toda 2.2L or feels 2.3L stroker kit for more torque?

Pinky... I have the 4.77. Does the Toda header make that much difference?

Well I ran the Mugen Headers for a bit........and when I sold it off to buy a HEAP of a Jeep to drive for the winter well lets just say I missed it!!! Untill I installed a test pipe. I got back the low and mid range torque I missed.

From what I have heard the Toda header is supposed to be as good and better for overall performance.

If you have the extra $$$ to put into the car and want to stay NA I would say it's a good bet.

Another option is doing the mildest set of Toda Cams. These are proven to really increase torque!!! Though an aftermarket ECU is really needed to take advantage of these.

Well I have an '00 so I have a Casper mod that works. Your '01 should be ok too. The newer ones need a more high tech mod to keep the CEL from coming on.
