no it is not, not without a LOT of effort. You would have to convert your car over to drive by wire.
You'd only need to do that for VSA.

For VSA you will need the DBW, and any associated sensors, plus the controler.

Wow, just wow.

I guarantee some 275 R-comps will fix your problem.... and your differential.

Ever hear of "Throttle modulation?" It does the same thing as "traction control", only you use your right foot instead of an additional computer.

be careful with wheel hop, You can lose your diff very quickly that way!

You can get a traction control system that works with non DBW. It uses injector modulation to cut power and the abs sensors to check for wheel spin!

I personally would first check my tire pressure and condition of tires. If they both are in good condition, i would then look to either getting better tires, or learn how to control the throttle! Throttle modulation can be very helpful in controling wheel spin! Its also free and helps in lots of different situations!

I never have this problem. Maybe I dont drive fast enough.

CDV slips the clutch enough to prevent such a hard shift in a stock car...at least mine

I had problems after increasing the power. I would be at 6000 rpm in second shift to third and just loose it. Changing to 275-40/17s in R compound made all the difference. With the sticky tires I don't need traction control even with running over twice the factory power.
Get sticky tires and learn to drive smoothly.
