Default traction control

im really not sure if im posting this in the right section but i have a 2000 s2k and i was wondering if they have traction control. now from what ive heard they do but i dont have a traction control switch in my care so im wondering if the person who originally bought the car didnt get that option if it was even a option. i understand that its kinda a stupid question but i figured i give it a shot.

No, you dont have traction control aka VSA. It wasn't introduced until '06.

There is something available from racelogic for around $1000. From what I understand it works pretty well.

Check this out http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control

That statement is less than accurate. Yes, the OP's MY00 does not have traction control or VSA. While traction control is one of the components of VSA there is quite a bit more to it than that. Yes, VSA was introduced in the S2000 in the 06 model year.

My VSA is not intrusive in daily driving. I like it. But I do need to turn it off for tail-happy play.
