Default Tranny removal!

Is it possible to get the tranny out of the tunnel just by removing the motor mounts and lowering the motor without dropping the sub frame? I know u can unbolt the tranny like that when pulling the motor but i wonder if theres enough room to get the tranny out.

That's more work than lowering the subframe.

Its alot easier to just lower the subframe. And the engine mounts are easy to do! Just replace em once you get the tranny out!

When I lowered the subframe i kept a jack under it at all times with a block of wood so I wouldnt add abunch of stress to the subframe bolts. I dunno just seemed logical lol
