Yes, "the right parts" would be a replacement transmission.

Yeah, it cost more to crack a trans open and dig around for any level of repairs then just picking up a used lower mileage option and paying someone labor to put it in. Ap1 trans are usually a few hundred less then the newer ap2. $500-$600 ap1 generally and around $700-800 for ap2. You can check the classifieds on this website to start with.

You only need a clutch if you need a clutch, so in other words have it inspected, paying particular note of how much friction disc material is left. Its possible to just replace the oem friction disc without the Pressure plate, and sometimes thats all thats needed, but i dont know how many miles are on your car or if its still on original equipment. If the clutch has more then 125k miles on it or so, id go ahead and air on the safe side and replace everything along with the throw out and pilot bearing, otherwise with less miles, inspect everything and reuse if looks good. The flywheel can usually just be resurfaced and reused. But its a great opportunity to slip in a light 8-9lb flywheel which this motor loves wile you have things opened up making instillation cost free since your going through the motions anyway with the other work.

Did the noise go away when you pressed the clutch in (at the end of video)?

If the noise does not change when you press and keep the clutch pedal in... it's prolly not your tranny. Could be a bad clutch disc or pressure plate. Or something in the engine.

Correct, the noise should go away when you push in the clutch if its related to the trans. I have my doubts about the clutch making that noise. I hate to say what it is if the OP has already done an engine replacement.

Its not the engine i just got it replaced last week motor has 48k on it, my mechanic said when he had it on the lift he could hear all the noise coming from the trans, he told me could be a bad pressure plate. So a member up top^ said replace trans which was the last thing i wanted to hear lol but if anyone has had this problem and know what it is or what to do....i need to know!!
