Default Transmission noises

Hello all

Hopefully someone can help me with a couple of questions I have. Getting really frustrated with my car at the moment and not enjoying it at all. Searched around the forum quite a bit but although I can find a lot of topics on these subjects I cant find anything which directly answers the questions here.

I have a standard 55k 2000MY

1) Clutch Buzz. Has anyone experienced clutch buzz getting worse? I bought my car 18 months ago with 42k on the clock. At the time it had the classic clutch buzz (during deceleration at mid to low revs). However just recently the buzz has turned into a very deep and loud vibration in the same area. . Could this be clutch buzz getting worse or do I have another problem

2) Gearbox noise. Just lately I have noticed horrible grinding noises coming from the gearbox. Seem worse than the car is hot. Sounds to me like gear lash noise you would expect with backlash in the gears of the gearbox. I'm sure it didnt do it when I bought the car. Noise happens at low revs, probably less than 2500rpm and in low gears. If I let the car run down in gear, as the revs drop this noise comes in. It disappears as the car slows right down to an almost stop but will then come in again as soon as I lightly tip in the accelearator. I have read threads on here and in magazines about some early S2000s having gearbox bearing issues but I would have thought this would be a whine noise rather than a grinding/rattling. Anyone had the bearing issues who could confirm.

Thanks in advance

When I first got my car I had quite noticeable clutch buzz during decel off the highway in 3rd and 4th. For whatever reasons now I dont have it (could be that I have learned to live with or ignore it) IMO, I think it went away after I changed my tranny and diff fluid...not sure what the correlation is between that and the clutch buzz though...cause I think those are springs in the clutch or something?

last time the fluids have been changed?

tranny,diff,clutch,motor

anyone got any suggestions ? getting really desperate now. To the point where I dread driving the car which is not what it should be about. Just checked with dealer and they put Honda MTF-3 fluid in which doing a search seems to be right and the fluid is not that old so dont think there is a problem there either.

The deceleration vibration is getting worse and worse, and the gear rattle type noise at low gear low loads is too (unless I am getting more paranoid). Just phoned up Honda and they want
