Default TSB on clutch

I am thinking of taking in my '01 S for the clutch TSB, is the replacement clutch better than the '01 one in terms of grip and launching?
Is it the '02 clutch they put in? any one have info on this?

My car is in the shop right now gettin the tsb clutch, and new 1st & 2nd gears
(grinding in second @high rpm). Driving a rental Mitsubishi Mirage, man that
sucks. I'm not sure what they will replace the clutch with, I'll ask the service mgr
when I pick my car up hopefully today and let you know.

I can't wait.

I love my s2k

i just had my clutch done 3 weeks ago, i am not sure if its the same clutch the 02 uses, but I believe so. THe clutch feels much better and the clutch petal feels much harder. It seems to grip a little bit better. If you want better grip, i would advise you put in a new Pressure Plate while your getting this TSB done.
I would definitely recommend doing this TSB, my BUZZING NOISE went away

I am having the tsb done as we speak. they are replacing 1-5 gear sets, (including gears, syncros, forks etc.) the clutch and the pressure plate. However my concern is that with only 6500 miles on the car my clutch was TOAST. Worn down to the rivets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I tried to get a clutchmaters however they are currently out of stock. yeah I do my share of burn-outs but I have never had this problem in any other honda sticks I have had(civics, gsr, accord). They cluthc wasent even slipping, I actually brought it in because of the second gear grind. No cluth problem what-so-ever.Any input?
