Default Turning Titanium Blue - any techniques?

I'm thinking about making my Ti muffler more blue. Can I just take a blow-torch to it? Is there anything to be worried about?

I have used a blowtorch on mine, came out pretty well, you do have to be carefull though.. the color did not come out completely uniform, but I still love it.

The end of most of the amuse tips they do come blue, the piping however turns color over time.

I tried a MAPP gas torch on my Ti shift knob and it didn't change color but I think I didn't get it hot enough...
