Default Twin Sequential Turbos

Has anyone had twin SEQUENTIAL turbos put in their car or done this mod on their own? In order to really find the torque button on this thing and hang with the big boys, I am convinced this is the solution!

I remember someone had a non-functional one on display... I can't remember what was stopping them getting it fully working.

But no, I've never heard of anyone getting a twin turbo on the S2000 working and streetable.

From what I have read the main obstacle is finding a space to run the custom piping.

Were those sequential turbos, or were they the same size? I think they were the same size, but don't quote me...

They were twin's but not sequential. The car was at NOPI but it was not completed in time for NOPI. I have no idea if it's done now or not. It was REALLY nice looking, but I think a nice quick spooling single would be better in the end.

While we're on the topic of turbos, does anyone have a photo of a S2k turbo manifold?

I own the twin turbo s2000. The turbos are not sequential and It does run now, but you are correct at the Nopi Nationals it did not because of my AEM program and the intake piping. I just recently found out that people had been discussing my car on some of these boards so sorry for the late response. Both issues have been resolved and we hope to win another trophy at this years Nopi Nationals. If you have any questions feel free to email me at S2K_RACER@HOTMAIL.COM

People who ask this have never seen a true sequential twin turbo setup...Its not easy to setup, at all. Look at an RX-7 engine bay.

Why not just use a small single turbo? You'll get the same torque down low, and a flatter torque curve.

Honestly, What's cooler than one turbo? 2! That is the whole reasoning. When we decided to go about the project we never imagined how much work would go into this car. One turbo would probably make more power. The two smaller ones make great torque, but the main reason was for the cool factor. To see if it could be done!
