Default Twin Turbo S2000

Okay, I was at NOPI this weekend and spotted this car. It looks innocent until you take a close look and find that there is not one, but TWO turbos down there. Look at the pics closely and you will see them. Very nice setup.

looks like the car doesn't run though because there are no couplings from the turbo to the intercooler pipping and the oil lines are taped.

I spoke to the guy. Car isn't running yet. He had to tow the car when he left. Very nice though. I'm interested in seeing how it runs when it's finally finished.

Interesting. Did he use two exhaust manifolds or one?

What size turbos?

Seems like there's going to be some major turbo lag and I hope that the 90 degree piping doesn't make a big difference.

It DOES NOT run... Dwight (formerly of Speedcraft and now of Stage 6 Motorsports) spoke to the guy and found many indications that made it IMPOSSIBLE for that car to run. Dwight spoke to the guy and the guy finally admitted that they had what he thought was about 3 more days before it would run. He told Dwight what he had left to do and Dwight said there is no way it's 3 days of work... should take them quite some time. In addition to which they used T-25's (know as T- too small's in the DSM community) and are making something very complex when the Speedcraft setup has more potential and is a much simpler set up.
