Lets say I had a 4 cylinder motor, and I wanted to make it twin turbo. What other cars in the past have had 4 cylinders with 2 turbos?

In the flat four, using only one turbo requires a lot longer/more complicated exhaust manafold. Twin turbo's make the packageing neater. If you really want a low lag turbo for a i-4 use a twin scroll turbo

It would be an optimal setup for a torqueless motor such as the S2000, but space is a very big issue. I think it can be done though. I think something as small as the GT28 would be good for 4000rpm and below. It would spool sightening quick and provide for lots more torque in the lower rpm ranges.

THAGR81---Most twin turbo setups are sequential type. (two different sizes utilized at two different rpm ranges)One is for boost at low rpm and one for high rpm effeciency.

I could have sworn there was someone already trying to do a twin turbo setup? Maybe Terry @ spool knows more info?? i don't remember.

Anyone want to try a quad turbo for the S2000..Just think a turbo per cylender..
