Default Ugly Engine noise

I have a very ugly noise that seems to be aft of the engine. Any Ideas what this is?

At first it sounds like a bad tct, but near the end it sounded like you spun a bearing or a cylinder is bad...

did you over rev the car or are you low on oil?

No. The oil is fine and changed often. You really only hear it at near idle. I usually have to slightly rev through a low rpm range to get it to do it. Engine still runs ok.

I know the TCT sound. I have had that before and TCT has been replaced. This sound is more of a knock. I dunno.

I just saw a reply on YouTube to my video. They suggested it may be my CAT converter. They could be right. My secondary O2 sensor throws an error from time to time.

With the car running and making noise, hold a large screwdriver against the cat. The noise will stop if its the cat.

OK, I will do that. I thought the CAT has a shroud around it. Well, even if it does, I should hear a change in noise right?

Thanks again.

Poke the screwdriver anywhere on the cat BUT the shroud/cover.

does the sound seem to kind of go away after the car warms up a bit?
