Both of those codes are for the 02 (air/fuel ratio sensor) in the header.

Probably a snagged wirre, or disconnected.

Clearing codes on an 06 is not like previous cars.

Your going to have to get the Honda manual and have a read. Or take it to the dealer.

it's under warranty on a stock car. No need not to take it to the dealer. Your 140mph run won't be in the freeze data if it coded on a cold start.

On a Honda TSB that covers all 00-03 Honda's (except Passport for some reason) DTC P2A00 = Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Range/Performance Problem. Can't find DTC P1172. I think a DTC starting in anything other than P0 is manufacturer specific. For example the generic OBDII DTC for a cylinder 1 misfire is P0301. The Honda manufacturer specific DTC for a cylinder 1 misfire is P1301. The only difference between the two is the P1 in the Honda DTC. That being said P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1) is a generic OBDII DTC which may be the same as Honda's P1 DTC. I don't know for sure, good luck.

Both of those codes are for the 02 (air/fuel ratio sensor) in the header.
EDIT: I type too slow.

Passports aren't real Honda's. Real junk, but that's another topic.

The generic OBD readers can't define manufacturer specific DTC's as well as the OEM scan tools, other than giving you the DTC #.

I don't have a 06 book here, otherwise I'd look into it.
