Well the turn into my work was quite the pain today! A lot of my coworkers said they all slid in the same spot due to ice, the unfortunate thing is, I was the one who nailed the curb.

First of all, Id rather not turn this into a critique of my driving as these threads tend to do. I have winter tires, and I was going too fast for the icy turn. Hindsight is 20/20.

Now, that said, car is damaged.
Smacked the curb with the passenger front. Car wants to turn itself quickly to the right of you let go of the wheel, but is drivable with compensating for that.

Taking it to a buddy's shop tonight, but asking for advice on whats possibly broken, and price to fix it.

Start from the bottom and do alignment .. Check bent rim .. Measure the wheel gap all around and you will know if something is bent .. That's what I would do ..

Wheel does not appear bent, just curbed badly

 

Measure all around the wheel .. The gaps and compare with other side and ur rim won't look bent but u will feel it.. Depends on the angle u hit

 

Hit flush. I was at full lock. Taking it to my buddys soon, but not sure if its safe to drive.

 

Visual check underneath steering and suspension components. Most stuff on under the S will break/ crack other than bend...usually

 

There were no cracks or breaks on visual inspection

 

An alignment sheet will tell you a lot. But like previously said, taking measurements from a known good side and comparing is a good starting point as well.
