Default Uneven Ride height

Ok, so I got some tein stech's installed tonight.

I get the car back and it's not even close to even. I know I'm supposed to let it settle a bit. But this is kinda ridiculous...

My front RIGHT is 1/2 " higher than the left
My back LEFT is a full 1" higher than the right

How can I check to see he put the right springs in the right place? I don't wanna go accusing him of wrong installation until I find out.

How important is loading the suspension before tightening everything? I told him about this when I dropped my car off. But he gave me the "ok whatever. it doesn't make a difference" look.

Pre loading IS important and it DOES make a difference.

It may change not only the ride hight but also the handling.
Make sure its done right.

It is VERY important to properly pre-load the suspension before tightening it up. Not doing so can easily make a 1" difference in ride height even if the springs are in their correct location.

Only if you know what you're doing. Otherwise, have someone with experience handle this. I'm not familiar with this model of Teins - I assume that it's not adjustable for ride height?

I suggest that you take the car to a good alignment shop and have them set it up. You'll need to do an alignment anyway.

^ Tein paints part numbers on their springs. 1" is a LOT of difference.

The more I look at it.... It looks like the right side is an even drop. Where the left side the front is way lower than the rear......

Maybe he put front/back in wrong on my left side. does that make sense?

I'm curious, what is the proper way to pre-load a lowering spring? I just want to make sure that I did it correctly.
