ive seen pics of the Comptech bracket in silver and black. Which one is the newest version?

 

I believe the black one is the new style, as shown here .

 

The newer ones are actually aubergine (egg plant) colour if you know what I mean. Very dark and somewhere between brown and purple.

They have the metal/rubber/metal sandwich buffers at each mounting point to lessen vibration transfer to the head and block and also have an additional mount to the timing case.
