Just wanted to share a small update on this O2 sensor replacement. There are a lot of threads on this, but some of them were confusing between upstream/downstream, male/female connector, brands, etc.
I just want to add to the report that my '08 CR had a lazy sensor at only 38k miles. Boosted KW for only 600 miles. Long story short, it would throw the "P0172 System is too Rich (Bank 1)" every couple of days. Found out the sensor when LHT John and I were watching the S.Trim hover on the numbers for too long.
I took the leap for a Denso 234-9065 A/F ratio sensor despite some saying the brand is NTK. My CR came with the Denso blue wire. Installed it, S.Trim is happy and responding. And i took some pics of the differences. Left is new, right is old factory. I hope this helps some of you
Thanks, for your post! I replaced my 2007 upstream O2 sensor 4 years ago. No CEL since. Got OEM one from Majestic Honda (at the time). Part # 36531-PZX-013.
