i dont know about a full write up but here is something...
so far my current performance mods are: HKS duals, spoon test pipe, exedy clutch/flywheel, and spoon radiator and oil cap (haha) but anyways.. daily driving is pretty good.. from 1k -3k it almost feels like stock.. but when you punch it to WOT, the turbo is in full boost by then and continues to PULL HARD up to 9k.. vtec jump is minimal but you can hear it.. the only downside i have to the turbo i would say is gas comsumption and driving around town not in boost all the time.. at half throttle you can feel the transition from vacuum to boost and sometimes its rough.. but thats normal for a NA car becoming Turboed.. from what i understand is that .. NA cars have one MAP senor and factory Turboed cars have multiple MAP sensors to help the transition from vacuum to boost..

Well the fun part.. when im messing around i can chirp the tires through 3rd.. havent tried 4th .. b/c i ran out of room..the highway driving is the best b/c you dont have to downshift to pass people.. man.. just punch it and the torque just shoots you.. just beware b/c it may cause you to drive a lot faster than the speed limit.. sometimes i catch myself doing 90+ without even knowing it.. you can easily get the car up to 100 no prob..

Once everything is installed correctly and stuff.. everything seems to be in sync.. the blow off valve and the wastegate sounds harmonious.. when i start dirving, its soo addicting to BOOST everywhere.. but soon or later.. ill get used to turbo and drive somewhat under control.. the peak boost is around .5 - barely .6 bars.. (14.7psi to one bar so you do the math) im hoping to dyno the car sometime within the next week or so.. when i get around to it i guess.. im having no mechanical errors at all so far and its been around 300miles.. the only reason i shot up to 1 bar in boost was b/c one of the hoses got melted and it created a hole.. thus allowing more air

if you have any questions or anything with the kit or the company.. they have one of the greatest customer service ever.. i give it they can help you out with most anything as they did for me.. i have no idea whats wrong with suzukas car but hopefully they can fix it -- wishing you could be boosting!--

Thanks for the write up

Oh, and how is the exedy clutch? Is it streetable? How stiff does the clutch pedal feel compared to stock?

i forgot how the stock feels.. its been awhile.. i had the star stage 2 clutch before the exedy.. and the exedy is more stiff.. but not by much.. its streetable though, just need to get used to it ..the exedy grabs hard and i recommend it

Ouch, sorry I didn't see this thread earlier.

Anyways, that crackling noise should have told you to stop boosting the car immediately till you figured out what was wrong. What you heard was almost certainly detonation, and bad detonation is it sound like crackling/static. Mild detonation is a couple of ticks, and even that is not good on an FI car.

Its likely you broke a ring or ring land. You might have even holed a piston, or flattened out some rod bearings. I hope that's not the case, but just be prepared for major problems.

Also - Consistently, there was a kind of static sounding noise right around 6K when VTEC would kick in.
