Using honda synthetic ?

Default Using honda synthetic ?

Anyone here get there oil changed at honda and use there synthetic oil ? If so is it any good ?

I don't think Honda has put their label on a synthetic motor oil yet. They have their label on a conventional oil manufactured by Exxon Mobil though. Is that what you're talking about?

i believe they still use the bottled castrol just convential for the s2000

It would have to be sourced from someone if it exist. No need to pay a premium for a Honda product when any name brand full synthetic will do the job. I use Mobil-1

Most dealerships I know use Castrol Syntec 10w30 if the customer requests synthetic.

My dealer recently started offering Pennsoil products in addition to Honda (ne:Exxon)oil. I don't care for Pennsoil and buy my oil/filters online.

I just by my own and change it myself. Saves money and time!
