Default using the top and when will the motor break

i just got the S
i use to have a miata and thats a manual top

i am wondering how long (or how many times) i can use the top up and down before the motor wears out.

i am worried as i go for 10 minute drives to work and want to have it down but put it up when i get to work. if this kills the motor quickly i might just do it ocassionally

Of all the thousands of S2000's sold, I've only heard just one report of a top motor failing. I don't think you need to worry about it.

Most peep's put the top down and up at least once or twice every time they drive their S. I have never heard of one failing.

I worry about when the next asteroid will hit the Earth and put it into the next extinction phase.
Reducing the times I use my top for fear of when the top motors give out?

just a thought thats all

i mean i had a miata before and when i run inside really quick i put the top up.

on the S there are a lot of haters out there who love to throw things inside. just wondering if it was worth it to put it up thats all. i mean if the motor breaks that easily then i wouldnt

knowing no one has had a problem imma be closing it more often

First time I've even seen someone concerned about this problem.
No, no top motor issues yet.

^ Hu?

I think you should be worried about the covertable top ripping rather if the motor will fail or not.
