vafc 2 install

Default vafc 2 install

i dont know where to hook up the vtc cam signal wire, or tdc signal, or vtm signal wire either.... can somone please help me i just got a vafc2 for my 2000 s2000

hey man i preciatte it cause im only 17 and me and my auto teacher were tryin to figure out it today from the book i got with the vafc 2 and we couldnt figure out where they went...

so do i have to by the harness for it to work or is the harness just gonna make my hookup easier ?

IMO the harness makes it easier because you don't have to cut your wires. not to mention that if you ever want to sell the VAFC or the car, you dont have a bunch of cut wires. the harness is a very popular option as well, since trying to figure out DTCs from a loose wire can be a biotch when you have all those wires to check.

however, if you're looking for very specifics on what wires to cut to where, at the top of this forum are several "pinned" or "sticky" topics. go in there, as some of them have a ton of info, including things about VAFCs.

if you still haven't found your answer, you can always ask in the electronics forum.
