Hey guys, I'm new to this site, and did a bit of searching but couldn't quite find the answers I was looking for.. As far as the VAFC goes all you do is plug it into the ECU and you can tune it directly from the device? Is it that simple? I know absolutely NOTHING about tuning or ECU's.. I was wondering if someone could please take the time to explain to me what I would need to do to get one of these installed, what kind of problems/issues are known with them, where to buy, and if there is any possibility I may have missed a step by step on how to install, set them up.

search "vafc", should be tons of info.

in a nutshell: VAFC will only work at throttle position 80%+, a s2k harness will stop the need for splicing into the factory harness (plug n play). Buy it at a performace store, one of our sponsers, for sale forum, ebay.
Then you will want to have a professional tune it on a dyno while checking the A/F ratios.

I think if you just got the car, enjoy it a little, that way you can extend the mod bug.

Important part is the last comment. A VAFC is only as good as its tuner. Post in your local s2ki forum for a tuner recommendation in your area. Maybe Music City Forum or Upper-Mid West...not sure what covers Louisville.
