VAFC Questions
So I did search, but I still have a few questions regarding VAFCs.
1) Will a PnP harness for a VAF2 work with a VAFC1?
2) If I install the PnP harness, can I run the OEM tune without using the VFAC?
3) I have a used VAFC but the display does not light when hooking up the power wire. Is it broken, or do I need to install it completely?

You probably need to connect Ground wire in addition to Power wire to have it turn on.
If you zero out the VAFC the car will run as if the VAFC wasn't connected even if it is connected.
The VAFC 1 vs 2 harness probably doesn't matter.

Unless it gets really really warm from being hooked up improperly..just out of curiosity why are you using a VAFC after all the negative things people have to say about them, as I dont care for them from personal experiences as well.

ideal setting for vtec is where torque curve crosses the hp curve. for ap1 that's around 5k to 5500. any lower and the crossover lag gets longer. as for the hi/lo...lo/hi, not sure. don't have my setup notes anymore.
