So I have been debating on the VAFC for quite a while. My car has the Vortec blower and other goodies, and have been planning on getting the AEM EMS, however the more I know about it (and the price) the more I am leaning towards the new VAFC v.II.

I know it is still a "engine management band-aid" but I wanted to get opionions from those who KNOW not speculate.
Please help.

If you ahve the vortec, get the EMS.

The vafc is not that great compared to it.

Thanks, but due to budget I think $1200 may be out of reach for a while...other priorities like feeding and clothing the family, ya know? I just wanted to know if the VAFC v. II would actually make a difference over the "addl" modules that came with the Vortech.

The new version II comes with a black body and white text, so it will fit well in the interior, however I know the EMS will just perfom better and eventually I will move to the EMS.

However, for the time being, will the VAFC be a well spent mod?

 

Yes it will be worth it as long as you dont' make a switch to something else.
