Default Valve Adjust Specs, information needed please.

Can someone please tell me what the factory spec is for the intake/exhaust settings the valve gaps??

Also, can anyone recommend anything different from factory, and why if so?? And has it been tested/is it safe?

I've got a friend over at Honda and can get a good deal on it this week (like... REALLY good deal), and I have 12k miles on the car, most of which were between 6 to 9k :-)

I'm having some other misc stuff done as well... anyway, all input appreciated!

I have adjusted my valves several times, and have experimented with the clearances quite a bit. My favorite specs, which I have had for over 15K miles are:

.007" Intake
.009" Exhaust

This is .001" tighter than spec, but it works fine. Just make sure you adjust them again every 15-20K miles. Also make sure you friend knows that the valve clearances MUST be measured between the tappet and spring retainer NOT the cam lobe and roller rocker.
