It's an Honda dealer, It will go with official warranty, If we buy the parts somewhere and then mount them in any place, maybe will cost less, but then, who wonders what happen.

Remember your (and others) history with the 4.77 gear mounting, finally everybody had to go to Honda to fix the faulty installation.

in order with he law in spain you can bring the parts to the Dealer to get them installed and still got official warranty. The parts must be OEM



our problems was not because a faulty part it was because the @#&! Garage

Update

So, Slows2k is the man.

Dealer just called me to tell me that I have the #4 cylinder bore scuffed.

Exactly what our moderator said.

They told me about a new block, I'll try to find one via S2000_Europe, and if not, original brand new one costs 2900 Euro. ($3762).

Well, life is wonderful and holy cow and whatever is said in English...

How did you got the scratch? Driven hard low on oil? Bad oil?

Yes I blew it with the SC doing 270 kph on the AutoBahn in Germany. Don't think I was running lean just the sustained high speed did the damage, most probably due to oil degredation.
