very frustrated
ok here's my situation. i took my car in for a diagnosis after experiencing a pulling to the left feeling under acceleration and pulling to the right after removing foot from the accelerator. this worsens as the speeds increase so going 80 mph + is kind of a scary feeling.
the mechanic came to the conclusion that because i have two different tires in the rear (from previous owner) the pulling was due to tread pattern differences.
so i matched one new tire to the one with the most tread which i would say has 90% tread. now this is my problem I'm experiencing a reverse in pulling which leads me to the conclusion that tire diameter is causing the problem now. although i haven't measured the diameter difference can't be more than 6/10 of a cm.
anyone have ideas as to wear the one tire down to match the other. any other creative ideas?

buy two new tires..
or
send your tire somewhere to get shaved
or
put it on a car that can do 1 leggers.

OR ... you can put the less tread tire back on with the new one and do that burn out you mentioned in the title. Then slap on the other tire with you new tires, maybe that might work. If it was up to me, I would buy another new one and try to sell the old ones.

Um... this might be kinda crazy... but... get an alignment? Maybe the tech was wrong in his assumption?
