Default VFAC

i was thinking of buying one of these vfac's, mainly to lower vtec(5200rpm). but is it worth 250-300 bucks? while your reading, should i even lower vtec? good?bad? it just think having access to the high cams earlier would help acceleration a bit. i know that once a go to a sc setup i will have to raise my vtec point back up, but a sc is years or so away. any help is apprecaited.

vafc fattens up your midend and topend depending on mods and how good your tuner is. tuning and dyno time cost $. lowering vtec too much can actually make the car run like crap.

before and after tuning. vtec kicks in at 5700. notice fatter midend and how power doesn't drop after 8300. a/f ratio was flat throughout powerband at around 13 i think.
