Default vibration noise

I just got MY2000 a couple weeks back with 70k miles on it and the only thing that concerns me is a loud vibration sound it makes when it is revving down. It is really noticable as my rpms drop from 3500 to 2500 when down shifting. It sounds like it is coming from the transmission area. Let me know if anyone knows what this could be.

It's the notorious clutch buzz.

Is there an easy fix for this? It doesn't really bother me that much, I just wanted to make sure it wasnt'anything serious

Only fix is a new clutch. It was a design "defect". There was a TSB to fix it under warranty...but it's a little late now.

It's only annoying...it's not hurting anything. The springs in the friction disk are rattling and that is the noise.

Thanks for the info. Ill wait to do the clutch when it needs to be replaced. Id rather spend the money else where ex. rims, suspension, sc.

Don't get a Competition Clutch or it will be worse

No exaggeration...
