Default Vibration from Transmission during accelaration!

hey guys,

I recently had my clutch replaced on my ap1 and now notice a slight vibration upon accleration. Do any of you guys have a vibration coming from the centre console/transmission tunnel area during acceleration say in 1-3rd gears at revs between 3000rpm Is this normal for a ap1 with a new clutch kit? Its done about 500kms since installation. I dont believe this vibration was present with my old clutch therefore I intend on taking the vehicle back to the stealership that performed it a month ago.

Any comments on this would be appreciated!

Cheers

well its either the clutch or possibly an improperly reinstalled drive shaft. either way take it back to the shop that did it, and have them fix it.

It's during ACCELERATION? My first thought was you were talking about the "clutch buzz/vibration" that many early ap1's have but that occurs during DECELERATION at certain rpm's. It appears to come from the centre console/transmission area and is pretty common/normal.

If it's occurring while accelerating though, then i'm not sure what it could be

Vibration on acceleration only is usually pitted CV drive buckets on the rear axles.

What clutch/flywheel did you get?
Lighter flywheels makes chatter at low rpms, idk what you have. But if its not, I will think shop didn't install it right.

Tranny rear mount not installed right? Hard to see how that could cause vibration, though. Just a thought.

Is the stick itself shaking more than that area around it? Or is it just the center console itself?

car is running stock ap1 clutch & flywheel and mounts are in good condition. vibration is coming from the centre console not from a shifter itself...
