Default Vibration under acceleration in higher gears

I have an 00 BB with 106k. Clutch was replace about 10k miles ago.
Under moderate to hard acceleration in gears 4-6 there is a pronounced vibration that I can feel in my feet and seat. Doesn't seem to correlate with engine speed, and does not occur even under very hard acceleration in gears 1-3.
I was thinking CV cups, but would that only happen in higher gears? I guess it could also be a slipping clutch, but even under hard launch there is no slipping whatsoever.
Motor/trans mounts would be the other suspect, but again, no vibration unless I hit the gas fairly hard in 4-6, and the vibration starts immediately, and so I don't suspect a tire balance issue.
This started out as barely noticable and has gotten progressively worse over the last 6 months.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Edit: the other day I had to adjust my clutch pedal as the engagement point ended up at the floor after teaching my daughter to drive MT . Currently the engagement is a bit too high. Vibration was noticible before that though.

Is it an OEM clutch disc or an aftermarket one?

Thanks!

Aftermarket. It has been a bit, but I think it was an Exedy.

Get 2 piece axle spacers.

Put one on the drivers side only. See if the problem disappears.

Exactly.

I have seen countless pitted buckets over the last 20 years.

100% of them were on the driver’s side (left)

I swapped my driver and passenger CV buckets the other day and no more vibrations on acceleration. And yes like Billman said, the driver side bucket did have some pitting
